My trust in our institutions has plummeted. MSM, government and establishment scientists. I follow the independent scientists who aren’t affiliated with pharma. Like Jessica Rose, David Spiecher, Kevin McKernan, Phillip Buckhaults, Byram Bridle. The corruption and ineptitude in establishment science is just too sad for words.
Saul Alinsky, Rules for Radicals: "Accuse your opponent of what you are doing, to create confusion and to inculcate voters against evidence of your own guilt" I just posted this quote on an article by Alex Gutentag of Public. The quote is becoming ever more relevant every day it seems.
There was a pandemic plan, well drafted, excluding all the non pharmaceutical initiatives as effective means to deal with pandemics. It was based on decades of science and empirical studies but was completely ignored to make room to THE SCIENCE. The real mistero of the pandemic management is about understanding why true science was ignored: was it panic? Hubris? Idiocy?
Fantastic article! I constantly saw this unqualified hack's name popping up throughout the pandemic. Also, don't forget that this COVID lockdown devotee was absolutely opposed to shutting down LGBT Pride events early on in the Monkeypox scare. Something about it being unfair and ineffective to demand that individuals make temporary lifestyle changes for the public good.

Thank you for this reminder.
Holy crap, this guy is wrong about pretty much everything. That's quite a track record.

Defending Dr. Wen would not be among my priorities. There are 10,000 more worthy causes.
