Orent uses the Nature paper as "proof" that the Wuhan market was the source of Covid, which is manifestly mendacious. It was irresponsible of Open Mind to publish her article without knowing the source of this claim. The paper is not yet peer reviewed and its failure to include the possibility that an infected market visitor brought the virus there, whether from the lab or elsewhere. is indicative of deliberate suppression of information. So much for Open Mind, which apparently does no fact checking whatsoever.
Sent this article to someone I know and this is what they said: (curious your opinion Paul)
I read the Wendy Orent article. I don’t get why this guy is on her. I don’t understand. You should read the article. For a lot of it she explains how there were lab leaks and how, in other cases, people will never really know. And when she quotes Lebor from APCO, it was one little bit in the entire article. And even then, I think you would agree with what she (Lebor) said which is nobody knows what to believe anymore. She said case in point was Anthony Fauci - he should never have said that masks don’t work if he thought that masks did work. The expert she was supposedly quoting was saying that people don’t know what to believe anymore.
Orent's rambling history of lab leak cover-ups, if anything, made me lean *toward* rather than away from the lab hypothesis for Covid. Did the people paying her actually read it?
IMHO, it needs to be 600k! The problem here is that to a degree you're preaching to the choir. It would be great if you sold some stories to more mainstream sources. That way you might have an impact on people who would never read substack.

If someone thinks it's okay to quote a PR employee as an expert on misinformation then I don't have a response.
Off topic but I can't figure out how to pay for my subscription?
We haven't switched over to a pay model, yet. Should happen sometime in the next few months.
OK, thank you. ... and thanks for your service

Great one, Paul!
Another brilliant article. Is it possible for you to sell some of your stories to get to a wider audience?
We are up to almost 6K subscribers here. It's growing.

Anyway, great work! Glad you're doing this.
Of course APCO has experts in misinformation. They're expert in creating it!
Make 'LIABILITY' the primary condition for deadly Vax makers to get APPROVAL! Mick from Hooe (UK).
I've posted an honest song in my stack my friend sang, yesterday.
