This morning I submitted to BMJ under your article the following short letter, which has so far not been published - apart from the apparently missing data from Pfizer’s British trial I am getting increasingly frustrated with why Oxford/AZ, J&J etc were allowed to use - known to cause clots - adenovirus

Further to my exchange with Thomas Finnegan last week [1,2,3] it does not look like any data from British trial sites [4] was included in the FDA’s comprehensive list (BIMO) of Pfizer’s main trial [5], and presumably none of it has been published.
I have also now written to the MHRA asking why the inclusion of adenovirus in products was permitted given its known association with clots [3], and hope for an early answer to this important matter.
FDA as an agency must be captured or otherwise coerced or else how do you explain complicity through non-investigation of whistleblowing about such an important issue? The credibility of regulation and the media is at stake if such basics are not dealt with meaningfully and correctly. This is a public health matter and the bodies we have in place are not acting with the integrity required.
