Thanks Mr. Thacker. This fills in some holes and is frankly scary. However, I think it undersells the Center for American Progress (CAP). CAP was founded by John Podesta, who of course was the campaign chair for Hillary Clinton in 2016. The campaign that sought to distract from the email server by tainting Trump with Russia (Brennan?). They funded the Steele Dossier and through Elias and Sussman sought to push it into the media and the FBI. All in an effort to weaken a rival candidate.
Podesta is now handing out hundreds of billions (maybe as much as a trillion) for the Biden administration. [Do we know where all that taxpayer money is going and for what?] He and his brother are ultimate democrat Washington insiders.
So the Steele dossier didn't stop Trump in 2016 becoming President. Podesta tries to fund an automated way of discrediting a candidate - Roy Moore - in 2018, for less money and effort. This is really scary - the subversion of democracy.
I live in AL now after almost 30 years in DC, born in NYS, and was not a fan of Moore when he ran. But I remember being pissed that people from New York were donating money down here and telling us who to vote for. I remember thinking, "Get the hell out of my state!" Now all this?! I became an independent after working on Capitol Hill in the 80s. Can't stand most Dems or the GOP that lets them get away with this crap. Thank you both for this
