Thank you for making this excellent interview available. There were whole paragraphs I read more than once because of their importance.

What did he mean when he said “at no point does anyone question whether dangerous GOF research, which benefits the German healthcare system, should be conducted.” How does GOF benefit healthcare systems?

And what did he mean when he questioned “why aren’t we finding close relatives of sarscov2. Because nobody wants to do the work. They’re afraid of what they might find, says a lot.” Afraid of what pray tell? I thought at the start of the sentence meant because they won’t find a close relative because it was engineered. But when he continued and said they’re afraid of what they might find says a lot. Again does that mean find nothing? Just want clarity. Thank you Paul.
